Most local firms subcontract the machinery. We run our own Unimog U2150L38 and U1600, a tracked harvester and forwarder, and a hooklift skip chipper for brash — so we process, extract and haul in a single mobilisation.
That means one crew, one method statement, one invoice — and timber chipped or stacked on site rather than carted across the county.
