Mechanised cut-to-length harvesting and forwarding with our own kit — timber stacked roadside by grade and marketed to the best-paying mill or biomass yard. Free crop appraisal.
Mechanised harvesting only pays when one crew can fell, process and extract without hiring in. We run our own tracked harvester and forwarder alongside the Unimog fleet, so we fell, cut to length, sort by product and forward to roadside in a single mobilisation.
Cut-to-length means each stem is graded as it's processed — sawlog, fencing, pallet, biomass — and stacked roadside ready for haulage. Nothing is wasted and nothing is double-handled.
Sensitive thinnings or full clearfell, we plan the racks and extraction routes to protect retained trees, roots and ground flora, working to FISA and UK Forestry Standard practice throughout.
Get a crop appraisal →Got a stand ready to harvest? We'll appraise the crop, handle the licence, and market the timber for the best return.
Getting the best return from a woodland isn't about the top log — it's about finding a market for every component. We sort each grade and place it with the best-paying mill, fencing yard or biomass plant in our network.
Where the crop has clear value we'll buy it standing — one transaction, paid up front, no exposure to the haulage and market risk. Where you'd rather take the mill price, we harvest and market on your behalf and show you the figures.
Either way you get honest numbers at the appraisal, a felling licence managed end-to-end, and a site left tidy and restocked where the licence requires it.
We assess species, volume, access and value, and lay out your options.
Felling licence applied for and managed; racks, extraction and restocking planned.
Mechanised fell, cut-to-length and forward to roadside, sorted by grade.
Each grade sold to the best-paying outlet; you're paid and the site left tidy.
Every job is run by one qualified crew on our own fleet. Explore the rest of the offshoot — or call and we'll point you to the right service.
UKFS-compliant management plans, thinning cycles, restocking and stewardship that keep a woodland healthy and earning.

From sensitive single-species thinning up to plantation and estate-scale clearfell. If a crop is large enough to justify mechanised harvesting, our harvester and forwarder make it pay; if it's small or awkward we'll say so and quote a hand-cut alternative.
We cut to length on site and stack it roadside by product — sawlog, fencing, pallet and biomass. We then market each grade to the best-paying mill or yard in our network so you get the most from the whole tree, not just the best logs.
Where the crop has value, yes — either we buy it standing or you take the mill price less harvesting and haulage. Where the numbers don't stack up, we quote competitively to harvest. Either way you see honest figures at survey.
Almost always for harvesting volumes — felling more than 5m³ a quarter generally needs a Forestry Commission licence. We check, apply for and manage it for you, including any restocking condition.
